For 21 years, WCCIF has curated an annual Contact Improvisation (CI) Festival as well as year-round trainings and events. The nonprofit is a locus for ongoing worldwide exchange and development of CI. Encompassing a cross-section of communities interested in dance, improvisation, somatic movement and performance, we offer multi-level learning and teaching opportunities. Financial assistance, diversity representation and physical accessibility are permanent aspects of programming. We seek to inspire and challenge both the professional artist and the beginning mover, cultivating new generations of teachers and performers.
